PWM es una sociedad de ministerios que sirve a las mujeres abusadas y abandonadas en Guatemala. Este ministerio viene a llenar una gran necesidad en Guatemala, donde las mujeres pierden el control de sus vidas, y son sujetas a una vida de miseria.
Estas mujeres, que estan faltas de recursos y educación, tratan desesperadamente de sobrevivir y proveer para sus familias. Tragicamente, a menudo estan atadas a relaciones violentas con hombres abusivos.
PWM colabora con diferentes ministerios y organizaciones para proveer multilples servicios a estas mujeres, incluyendo albergue temporero, consejeria, servicios legales, discipulado, entrenamiento para trabajar y prestamos para pequeños negocios.
Nuestro primer albergue, “El Refugio” abrio en Junio de 2008, y ha estado ofreciendo albergue a mujeres abusadas, al igual que la esperanza y sanidad que se encuentra en Jesus.
Isaías 1:17 ! Aprendan a hacer el bien! ! Busquen la justicia y reprendan al opresor! ! Aboguen por el huérfano y defiendan a la viuda!
Salmo 82:3-4 Defiendan la causa del huérfano y del desvalido; Al pobre y al oprimido haganles justicia.

PWM is a partnership of ministries serving abused and abandoned women in Guatemala. This partnership comes to fill a huge void in Guatemala, where women lack total control of their lives, and are powerlessly subjected to lives of misery.
These women, who are lacking resources and education, are desperately trying to survive and provide for their families. Tragically, they are all too often bound by violent relationships with abusive men.
PWM works with various ministries and organizations to provide multifaceted services to these women, including temporary shelter, counseling, legal services, discipleship, job training, and small business loans.
Our first shelter, The Refuge (El Refugio) opened in June, 2008, and has been offering shelter to abused women, as well as the hope and healing found in Jesus.
Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.
Psalm 82:3-4 Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
